Cassina Sales Area Manager - Germany

Responsibilities:

 

The Cassina Sales Area Manager will be responsible for supporting the existing and new Cassina retailer and who initiates, develops, builds, implements and supervises the Cassina collections Living, Dining, Sleeping and Outdoor strategically, structurally and conceptually, such as through trade fairs, events (imm, Orgatec, Salone, special events), branded spaces (shop in shop), promotions or other sales activities.

The Cassina Sales Area Manager reports directly to the Cassina Sales Manager DACH & MITTEL.

 

 Main Activities:

  • Support for specialist retail partners of Cassina in West and North Germany;
  • Reaching the yearly and business plan revenues and profitability targets for the assigned Region;
  • Optimizing the Company geographic presence, opening or changing, when necessary, new dealers;
  • Training dealers sales force accompanying them in their visits to the main architects and interior designers’ customers present in the Territory;
  • Responsible and target oriented for constant growth and customer loyalty;
  • Cooperation, exchange and synergy with the colleague for hospitality and contract projects;
  • Identifying business opportunities;
  • Developing new business relationships;
  • Introducing new product range to existing clients;
  • Follow up on quotes to ensure the customer is serviced and documents the outcome of the proposed solution;
  • Executing sales efforts in a professional manner assuring favorable impression of self and the company;
  • Developing and maintaining sales forecast to enable the company to analyze market conditions;
  • Providing excellent client services & sales results;
  • Supporting and attending all business events and activities;
  • Maintaining and updating visit report and client contact database and project list;
  • Responsible to service select Contract Dealers.
 

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial/Interior Design preferred;
  • Several years of sales experience in the high-end furniture retail trade;
  • Proven Sales history of at least 5-7 years achieving measurable sales goals.

 

Technical and Soft skills:

  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel);
  • German mother tongue, fluent in English, Italian knowledge will be considered a plus;
  • Excellent communication and sales skills;
  • Self-motivated and self-directional;
  • Love and passion for exceptional design and highest quality
  • Organizational & problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize work;
  • Oriented and proactive approach to achieving the goals;
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
