Cassina Sales Manager London

Responsibilities

The Sales Manager Cassina London is accountable for achieving sales and P&L objectives of the London store, managing both Retail Sales and Soft Contract sales (A&D, Corporate accounts, Contract dealers) for the London market.

The position is responsible for providing a business environment that provides a best in class luxury experience for both end Clients and A&D community, ensures the continuous and efficient operations of the store by supervising all processes in cooperation with the UK subsidiary and Headquarter.

The Sales Manager Cassina London reports directly to the Global Retail Director and leads a team of both Retail sales associates and A&D and Dealer manager.

 

Main activities
The activities in which the resource will be involved include but are not limited to:

  • Develop the business in both the Retail and Soft Contract segment, by promotion of the brand to both the A&D community and end clients;
  • Ensure the achievement of the P&L of the store by effective management of both top-line and cost-management;
  • Ensure that all the KPI of the business are met (store traffic, quote generation, conversion, discounts and margins);
  • Lead the London team ensuring effective planning and supervision of key activities and coaching of team member;
  • Ensure that the store provides best in class luxury experience and outstanding level of hospitality;
  • Ensure that the in-store product display and visual marketing is to the highest standard;
  • Organize showroom events and appointments for the A&D community and clients;
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Marketing Department and Global Retail Director to identify and implement all local marketing initiatives (events, local communication, sales tools);
  • Contribute actively to the expansion the company database through client data registration and profiling;
  • Ensure real-time reporting to Headquarter by guaranteeing the use of the company information system and other reporting/CRM tools, providing all relevant information regarding sales quotes, leads, client visits;
  • Provide monthly Sales forecasts and reports;
  • Use the company’s KPI monitoring tools to do regular Business Reviews with the Store Team, providing continuous feed-back to team aimed to improve Sales Performance;
  • Ensure training of new sales staff in order to guarantee a high standard of client service and product knowledge;
  • Assure all administration, reporting and financial management is of the highest order.
 

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (Design or Architecture or Business Economics preferred);
  • Min 10 years experience in high-end furniture sales;
  • Min 5 years experience in the role;
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel);
  • Strong track record of business devlepment.

 

Technical and Soft skills

  • Good knowledge in Cost Management and understanding of P&L;
