Cassina Web & e-Com Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities

The Web & e-Commerce Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning and execution of web and e-Commerce programs to drive on-line brand awareness growth and future sales.

Directly reporting to the Trade & Product Marketing Director, he/she will be responsible for driving the new web-site platform development and managing the on-line Merchandising, Marketing and Customer Experience phylosophy.

He/She will analyze site performance and execute digital merchandising and marketing strategies for product demand and continuous online growth.

 

Main Activities
The activities in which the resource will be involved include but are not limited to:

  • Manages online merchandise presentation, and executes effective position of products based on sale, inventory, newness and trends;
  • Responsible of ongoing improvement to the website including product descriptions, images, order/hierarchy of products, partnering with the relevant stakeholders to execute site changes;
  • Leading rich content development to ensure traffic growth and conversion;
  • SEO optimised content writing and diversifying content strategy across multipledevices;
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO and major search engines;
  • Monitoring website usability and consumer experience in partnership with internal and external teams to improve navigation strategy and site performance;
  • Monitoring KPI’S to enhance web experience, optimize engagement and maximize conversion;
  • Supporting the development of the e-Commerce platform according to the Brand strategy;
  • Works closely with Marketing on the digital strategy across channels including online, mobile, emails, social, affiliates and SEM to align with company goals and vision. 

 

Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and developed interpersonal skills;
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented;
  • Understanding of digital production and release processes, including direct experience with digital tools and technologies;
  • Analytical skills to direct and manage digital metrics, interpret data, formulate strategies and execute initiatives related to global online business growth;
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing fundamentals with knowledge of financial KSFs and KPIs, specifically focused on measuring and steering internal and external e-commerce activities;
  • Team collaboration and consensus-building skills, with ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams; 
  • Readily adapt to new processes/technologies and change and help others operate flexibly;
  • Ability to work in fast pace environment;
  • The ideal candidate is passionate about luxury industry.

 

Education & Work experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related degree;
  • 4-6 years of progressive experience in E-Commerce, Digital Marketing Projects, Site management;
  • Knowledge of main web platform and developing language.
