The Bookkeeper will directly report to the Finance Manager UK & Eire and will be responsible for providing general support for the effective operations of bookkeeping and administrative services.

 

 

Main activities

  • Maintains accounting records by making copies and filling documents.
  • Processes payments and documents such as invoices, employee reimbursement and statements.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Enters, updates and retrieves accounting data from automated system.
  • Posts financial data to appropriate accounts in an automated system.
  • Endorses warrants or money orders, prepares account deposit ticket as directed.
  • Updates, verifies and maintains accounting journals and ledgers and other financial records.
  • Prepare and submit customer invoices.
  • Performs all necessary account, bank and other reconciliations.
  • Check all financial transactions for accuracy.
  • Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment.
  • Assists in month end reporting procedures.
  • Assists in employee documents collection.
  • Perform filing and general administrative tasks.

 

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or qualified Accountant.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in clerical Accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with Navision (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Knowledge of FRS102 is desirable.
