Responsibilities
The Showroom Manager is accountable for achieving all the Showroom sales, profit and service goals while providing a business environment that supports an outstanding experience for clients and associates. Ensures the continuous and efficient operation of the showroom while providing leadership and guidance to all showroom associates.
The Showroom Manager reports directly to the Retail Director.

Main activities
  • Be a key interface with clients, designers and buyers.
  • Develop new business relationships and identifying business opportunities.
  • Outreaching and presenting to array of DC based designers and architects to gain immediate and future sales.
  • Pursuing daily outreach to A+D community.
  • Identifying business opportunities.
  • Consistently created and implemented weekly A+D events to raise brand awareness and sales channels.
  • Provide excellent client services & sales results.
  • Ensure the product display and visual marketing is to the highest and prescribed standard.
  • Guarantee that the store provides best in class luxury experience and outstanding level of hospitality.
  • Support and attend all business events and activities.
  • Optimize showroom performance.
  • Organize showroom events to increase sales by ensuring that designers, decorators and clients are invited and enticed into the showroom.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Marketing Department and Retail Director to identify and implement initiatives to increase store traffic;
  • Identify and suggests actions to further expand the company database through client data registration and profiling.
  • Ensure real-time reporting to Headquarter by guaranteeing the use of the company information system and other reporting/CRM tools, providing all relevant information regarding sales quotes, leads, client visits.
  • Provide regular Sales forecasts.
  • Use the company’s KPI monitoring tools to do regular Business Reviews with the Store Team, providing continuous feed-back to team aimed to improve Conversion Rates and overall Sales Performance;
  • Inspire and motivate staff to exceed sales and service goals.
  • Plan of showroom staff coverage schedule.
  • Assist the training of new sales staff in order to ensure a high standard of client service and product knowledge.
  • Assure all administration, reporting and financial management is of the highest order.

Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree (Design or Architecture preferred).
  • Min 10 years in experience in high-end furniture sales.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Proven Sales history.
  • Experience in high-end design sales.

  • Excellent customer relations skills.
  • Oriented and proactive approach to achieving the goals.
  • Organizational & problem solving skills.
  • Ability to motivate, manage and engage staff members.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize work.
