Responsibilities:
The appointed candidate, based in Cassina HQ in Italy, will be responsible for supporting and developing Karakter business within the main European regions, directly reporting to the CEO & Founder of Karakter.
He/She will initiate, develop, build and optimize the presentation and sales of the current and upcoming Karakter collections in a strategical and structural way within the partners network, opening dedicated areas, Branded spaces (shop in shop) and Monobrand stores as well as managing promotions or other sales activities are important duties.
The appointed candidate will represent Karakter at trade fairs (Salone del Mobile, Orgatec, etc.) and events.


Main Activities:
  • Daily support to the selected partners in Europe;
  • Reaching the yearly business plan revenues and profitability targets for his/her Territory;
  • Optimizing Karakter’s geographic presence, opening new partners;
  • Introducing new product ranges to existing and new clients;
  • Training the partners’ sales force;
  • Accompanying partners during their visits to the main architects and interior designers present in the Territory;
  • Responsible to service a network of selected Contract Dealers;
  • Promote the Brand towards A&D, Real Estate Developers, Hospitality companies, etc.

Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics,
  • Business Administration and/or Interior Design;
  • Design & Cultural savvy;
  • Several years of sales experience in the high-end furniture industry;
  • Proven Sales history of at least 5 years achieving measurable sales goals.

Technical and Soft skills
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel);
  • English mother tongue, Italian knowledge will be considered a non-essential plus;
  • Excellent communication and sales skills;
  • Self-motivated and self-directional;
  • Solid presentation skills;
  • Love and passion for exceptional design and highest quality;
  • Organizational & problem-solving skills;
  • Availability for intense travelling;
  • Customer-oriented and proactive approach to achieving the goals;
  • Ability to work independently.
