The role

Working as an Assistant in our design-driven company is an opportunity to step into other roles with focused training and development and a passion for the design we share in our showroom. The ideal Design Sales Assistant candidate must be extremely detail-oriented, a self-starter, and someone with the ability to multi-task in a high volume and rapid-paced sales environment. Candidates who have completed formal Design Education Programs are preferred. Multi-lingual candidates are also preferred.

Essential duties and responsabilities:

  • Coordinates materials such as images, samples, and pricing information for client presentations.
  • Distributes daily internal/external mail and overnight packages, sends and distributes faxes and sales literature.
  • Maintains library of vendor products.
  • Prints stock reports.
  • Tags merchandise on showroom floor.
  • Follows up with correspondence, thank you letters, and mail invoices.
  • Maintain client records when necessary.
  • Answers phone calls and directs to appropriate personnel.
  • Keeps showroom neat and orderly at all times.
  • Orders office and kitchen supplies when needed.
  • Performs other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or experience
Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Design background is preferred.
