Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Modelling & Transformation: Design and maintain data models within Azure Synapse and Azure Fabric, ensuring seamless integration of CRM and digital data. Optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data quality and performance.
  • Customer Data Platform (CDP) Development: Collaborate with our partners and the IT department to build and maintain a robust CDP, integrating data from various digital channels, CRM, E-Commerce, and other customer touchpoints to create a comprehensive view of customer interactions.
  • Digital Data Reporting: Establish and maintain a solid reporting ecosystem for digital data, ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate and timely insights. Leverage Power BI to create user-friendly reports that drive data-informed decisions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, digital, and sales teams to understand their data needs, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and deliver user-friendly dashboards and visualizations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with trends in BI, data analysis, and customer data management, continuously exploring new ways to enhance analytics capabilities and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Data Governance & Security: Ensure that all analytics solutions adhere to data security policies and best practices, particularly around handling customer and digital data.
Technical Skills:
  • Data Visualization: Proficiency in Power BI for creating complex dashboards and reports is preferred. Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is also valued.
  • SQL & Data Management: Strong SQL skills for querying, data manipulation, and managing large datasets are mandatory, with experience in optimizing queries and ensuring efficient database performance.
  • Data Modelling Best Practices: Ability to design effective data models, including star schema and snowflake schema, to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • ETL Processes & Data Transformation: Experience in designing and managing ETL processes to ensure high data quality, consistency, and integration across different platforms.
  • Cloud-Based Data Solutions: Familiarity with Azure Synapse and Azure Fabric is preferred, but not mandatory. Experience with other cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery) is considered a plus.
  • Data Integration & Automation: Competence in integrating data from various sources, such as CRM, digital channels, and E-commerce platforms, using APIs or data connectors. Ability to automate workflows for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a data analysis role.
The ideal candidate will also possess:
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to convey data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.
  • Digital Analytics: Understanding of web analytics, digital marketing metrics, and customer behaviour analysis (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse complex data sets, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to data accuracy and quality, ensuring all reports are reliable and actionable.
