Responsibilities:
The Middle East & Africa Area Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting and developing both Cassina, Cappellini, Zanotta & Karakter sales network, directly reporting to the Iberia, MEA & Mediterranean Countries Sales Director.
He/She will initiate, develop, build and optimize the presentation and turnover of all Brands collections and products in a strategical and structural way within the wholesale network, opening Monobrand Stores and Branded Spaces (shop in shop) as well as managing any kind of sales activities aim to strengthen business opportunities in the area.
Moreover, he/she will be responsible for nurturing relationships with architects and designers in the assigned area.
The appointed candidate will represent all the Brands at trade fairs (Salone del Mobile, Orgatec, Neocon, ICFF, etc.) and events.

Main Activities:
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities;
  • Providing excellent client services & sales results;
  • Daily support to the selected partners in MEA Countries;
  • Reaching the yearly business plan revenues and profitability targets for his/her Territory;
  • Optimizing Cassina, Cappellini, Zanotta & Karakter’s geographic presence, opening when possible new partners;
  • Guarantee excellent product displays at the partners stores, in line with the Visual Merchandising Guidelines;
  • Introducing new product ranges to existing and new clients;
  • Training the partners’ sales force;
  • Promote the Brand towards A&D, Real Estate Developers, Hospitality companies, etc;
  • Developing and maintaining sales forecast to enable the company to analyze market conditions.

Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration and/or Interior Design;
  • Design & Cultural savvy;
  • Several years of sales experience in the high-end furniture industry;
  • Proven Sales history of at least 3-5 years achieving measurable sales goals.

Technical and Soft skills:
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel);
  • Mandatory English knowledge;
  • Excellent communication and sales skills;
  • Self-motivated and self-directional;
  • Solid presentation skills;
  • Love and passion for exceptional design and highest quality;
  • Organizational & problem-solving skills;
  • Availability for intense travelling;
  • Customer-oriented and proactive approach to achieving the goals;
  • Ability to work independently.
